The Lakes Course was the second course built by Yoshikazu Kato at this world famous resort and it has just undergone an extensive renovation and is in pristine condition. Built around man made lakes which were a result of a long defunct local mining operation and lined with a number of rubber trees and flowering shrubs it is a less demanding course than the Canyon but no less enjoyable to play.
Look out for the 18th which has a good 200 yard up-hill carry over a ravine so concentrate and you might just have one of those memorable rounds you can bore your friends with for years.
